MARYDEL, Md. - Alfred Jack LePore, 64, of Marydel, died on Monday, April 2, 2012, in Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. He was born on May 30, 1947, to the late Anthony Michael LePore and Philomena DiRocco LePore of Marydel. Mr. LePore had been employed with Playtex and Square One Electric. He then resided at home in Marydel. He loved his farm and riding on his Ford tractor. One of his many pleasures was cooking for his family and friends that he loved to invite to his home. He enjoyed crabbing, steaming and eating Maryland crabs. He played the bass guitar for the Pony Express country band for over 50 years. He was loved by everyone. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda S. LePore; one daughter, Cindy L. LePore of Marydel; one brother, Lee LePore, Sr. and wife Mary of Templeville; one sister, Phyllis Vonville and husband John of Marydel; two grandchildren, Cody L. Creasy and Lauryn S. Creasy, both of Marydel; a niece, Kim Wood of Marydel; three nephews, Greg C. Wood, Sr. and Tony Vonville, both of Marydel and Lee LePore, Jr. of Templeville; three great-nephews, Gregory C. Wood Jr., Gaige C. Wood, and Kayden M. Vonville; one great-niece, Taylor LePore of Templeville; and many more nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Templeville Community Church, Templeville. Interment will be in the Greensboro Cemetery.
