GREENSBORO, Md. - Alfred Curtis Harvey, "Pop", 68, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Envoy of Denton, Md. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Grace M. Harvey; his son, James A. Harvey and wife, Lisa; a daughter-in-law, Karen Harvey, all of Greensboro, Md.; his brother, William Harvey; two sisters, Ann Bright and Patricia Everett, all of Harrington; two grandsons, Wade Harvey, and Josh Harvey; and one granddaughter, Kayla Harvey. Mr. Harvey was born on Dec. 10, 1942, to the late William Harvey and Anna Davis Harvey in Mt. Holly, N.J. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Harvey. He was a retired mechanic for Mitchells Used Cars & Auto Sales, where he worked for 33 years. He was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed talking about and helping people with cars, and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, March 12, at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md. Burial will follow service at the Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md. Condolences may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
