Aleine Drandorff

GEORGETOWN - Aleine Drandorff, of Georgetown, passed away on Aug. 29, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 76. Aleine was born in Georgetown, the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Oliphant) Calloway. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wesley U.M. Church in Georgetown and also attended the Eagles Nest Fellowship Church in Milton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. "Bob" Drandorff in 2004; a brother, James Calloway; and a sister, Lola Rogers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Drandorff of Milton; sister, Louise Harris of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Jimmy Larsen Jr. and girlfriend Stephanie Outten, and Julie Larsen; and a great-grandson, Jimmy Larsen III; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown. The family of Aleine would like to thank Delaware Hospice Center and Brandywine Assisted Living for the special care she was given.
