Bert was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Smyrna for 47 years and was active in many activities including the church bazaar. She enjoyed volunteering to read to the children at the Smyrna and North Smyrna Elementary Schools for years. She loved family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bert always had time when family came to visit and made sure everyone was fed.
She was very active in the women's club (DSFWC) and the Smyrna Garden Club.

The family would like to extend a thank you for the excellent care provided by Westminster Village in Dover and Bay Health of Dover.
