Albert 'Buck' Krupka Jr., 73

CLAYTON - Albert "Buck" Krupka Jr., 73, of Clayton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. He was born on April 3, 1936, in Dover. Buck had served in the Delaware National Guards. He had worked as a custodian for Dover High School, retiring in 2000. Following his retirement, he enjoyed life on his farm and fishing at his pond. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Krupka Sr.; and a brother, William A. Krupka. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Hamilton of Clayton; two sons, Albert Anton "Tony" Krupka of Easton, Md., Gregory Dean "Deano" Krupka and his wife Gina of Magnolia; and a daughter, Sherri Gillis of Preston, Md.; five grandchildren, Riannon Honey of Magnolia, Marissa Gillis and Korena Gillis both of Pennsylvania, Anthony Paul Krupka of Newark, and Casey Lee Krupka of Lebanon; and his close friend Maggie. Services will be noon Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Tri State Bird Rescue and Research, 110 Possum Hollow Rd., Newark, DE 19711.
