SELBYVILLE - Albert C. Henderson, 70, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at his home in Selbyville. Born in New Brunswick, N.J. the son of the late Albert and Florence (Adams) Henderson, he grew up in Highland Park, N.J. and lived in the Edison, N.J. area for 25 years before moving to Selbyville six years ago. Before retiring in 2001, he was the tire sales manager for Freedman Tire Service, Edison, where he worked for 20 years. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Henderson; his son, Kenny Henderson; and his beloved dog, Duffy. Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Coyne) Henderson; his son, Gary and his wife, Annette; stepson, Andy; stepdaughter, Megan; and two grandchildren, Nick and Emily. Al will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A viewing and memorial service will be held 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Quackenboss Funeral Home, 156 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, N.J. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick, N.J. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
