PALMETTO, Fla. - Alan K. Touch of Palmetto Florida, formerly of Dover, Delaware passed away August 28, 2015 at home. He was 56. Alan was born May 14, 1959 in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada, but grew up in Ocean City, N.J. to late William Touch and Carol (Krogh) Touch. He served in the United States Air Force from 1980 till his retirement in 2000 as a TSgt. Alan owned and operated his own business Alan's Assembly and worked as an assembler for Toys R Us. He enjoyed playing poker, walking and enjoying nature, relaxing on the beach, but most of all making others happy. He is survived by his children, Scott Kalman and his wife Erica of Viola, Amanda Crandall and her husband Brian of Waldorf, Md. and Alex Touch of Abingdon, Md.; brothers, William Touch, Jr. of Hammonton, N.J. and Ronald Touch of Waterford, N.J.; sisters, Linda Welsh of Sulpher Springs, Texas and Holly Hoff of Galloway, N.J.; grandchildren, Chase and Cole Kalman; his friend and ex-wife, Sherry Touch of Essex, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
