Willie Wright Sr., 88 GREENWOOD - Willie Wright Sr., age 88, of Greenwood, passed from this earth to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was the loving and devoted spouse, Cleora; father of Frances (Thomas Jr.) Jackson, Willie Jr. (Georgeann) Wright, Henry Wright, George Jr. (Virginia) Burton, Elkton (Theresa Johnson) Burton, Marvin Sr. (Vivian) Burton, Brenda (Percy) Johnson, and Valerie (Charles Jr.) Jackson; a grandfather to 27 and great-grandfather to 56. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends including his Greenwood Acres and Greenwood CHEER Center families. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., today, April 9, at Wesley Chapel UM Church, Slaughter Neck, where friends may call two hours prior, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughter Neck. Arrangements by Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Services.
