William John "Bill" Lauman, 59
ROCK HALL, Md. - William John "Bill" Lauman of Rock Hall died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at the home of his daughter in Rock Hall. He was 59.
He was born in Norristown, Pa., on Nov. 20, 1947, son of Charles Lauman of Lansdale, Pa., and the late Helen Rose Lauman.
Mr. Lauman graduated with the class of 1966 from North Penn High School and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1969.
He returned to Telford, Pa., where he worked as a machinist with Gasboy International and Weavers in Lansdale.
Mr. Lauman resided in Telford until moving to Rock Hall in December 2005.
He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed his friends and riding his Harley"s.
He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Nycole Walls and her husband Jason of Rock Hall and Ashley Rose Lauman of Harleysville, Pa.; his grandchildren, Austin Bramble, Taylor Walls and Jayde Walls; two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Lauman of Harleysville and Donnie Lauman of Colmar, Pa.; and a sister, Kathy Tewksbury of Perkasie, Pa.
Relatives, friends and motorcycle enthuisaists are invited to Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 29.
Services with honors will be 2 p.m. Oct. 30 in Arlington National Cemetery with arrival time at 1:30 p.m.
