MILFORD - William James Bradley, of Milford, was born April 26, 1954, to the late William J. Watson and the late Rebecca L. Anderson. He departed this life Monday, May 12, 2008, at home. He was 54.

William was educated in the Milford School District.

His employment included the Hollywood Diner, Shorgood Poultry, Milford Diner and Save-A-Lot Food Store. His final employment was at Super Fresh Food Store, where he remained until his health began to fail.

William loved to cook, play cards, horse racing and going to the casino.

He would always make one smile and give one a good laugh. He had a great sense of humor and he loved to dress.

William was a loving person, when he wanted to be (smile).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Houston; and one brother, Eddie Bradley.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Marlene Bradley of Milford; two daughters, Brandy Houston of Laurel and Shantae Houston of Magnolia; one aunt, Gertrude Mack of Hialeah, Fla.; six sisters, Jannie Wright of Millsboro, Ida (Willie) Tillman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Wilhelmina Watson of Dover, Dalphine Watson of Weisbaden, Germany, Veronica Watson of Magnolia and Tomara (Kevin) Williams of Milford; three brothers, Edward Bradley of Dover, Garrett (Kathleen) Watson of Milford and Darryl Watson of Claymont; his best friend, Kenny Leitch; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 274 N. Rehoboth Blvd., Milford.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church, 13724 Old State Road, Ellendale, where friends may also call two hours prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Milford Community Cemetery.
