He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 32 years Carrie Cheeks; children, Tashonna Brooks, William Cheeks, Jr., Tracie Hinson, Gloria Cheeks, Linda Thomas and Jeffery Richardson; siblings, John, Mark, Vincent, Beverly and Pamela Cheeks; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. with viewing 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1400 B Street, Wilmington.
