William E. Johnson

DOVER - William E. Johnson, of Dover, passed away June 1, 2011, at his home. He was 63. William served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He served with the New Castle Police retiring as a Corporal with 28 years service and was presently employed with the Dover Federal Credit Union as a computer technician. He enjoyed gardening and doing yard work. William is survived by his wife, Laura Johnson; and his parents, Robert and Ann Johnson of Dover. Services will be 7 p.m. Tues. June 7, 2011, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. until service time. Burial will be private at a later date at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kent County S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
