William E. 'Bill' Dunn, 68

RIDGELY, Md. - William E. "Bill" Dunn of Ridgely died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, in the Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 68.

Mr. Dunn was born in Virgilina, Va., son of the late Willie Earl Dunn and Evelyn V. Greenwich.

He was a graduate of Ridgely High School.

Mr. Dunn was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was the owner and operator of the Ridgely Auto Sales, which he started in 1967.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Dunn was a life member and past commodore of the Choptank River Yacht Club, Denton, a member of the Poor Boy's Yacht Club at Suicide Bridge, Dorchester County and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, a life member of AMVETS, and was a charter member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2332, Greensboro.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca L. Dunn of Ridgely; a son, William Brian Dunn of Greensboro; a daughter, Terri R. Eastland of Ellicott City; a brother, Jimmy Lee Dunn of Ridgely; a sister, Violet E. Dunn of Greensboro; and four grandchildren, Macayla H. Dunn, Brianna G. Dunn, Laura N. Eastland and Brian J. Eastland.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Moore Funeral Home, PA, 12 S. Second St., Denton.

Services will be noon Monday in the funeral home.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Caroline Hospice Foundation, PO Box 362, Denton, MD 21629.
