William C. 'Chad' Flanagan, 38
MIDDLETOWN - William C. "Chad" Flanagan of Middletown died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Middletown. He was 38.
Chad was born Aug. 11, 1968, in Wilmington.
He graduated from Christiana High School.
A tile mechanic by profession, Chad owned and operated Flanagan Tile for the past 15 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed both fishing and mountain biking.
Chad was a great admirer of tattoo body art and had many interesting and beautiful tattoos.
He is survived by three sons, Travis Flanagan, Jesse Flanagan and Austin Flanagan, all of Newark; his mother and her husband, Donna and Frederick T. Haase Jr., Esq., of Middletown; his father, William Flanagan of Edgewater, Fla.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael Flanagan of Edgewater and Nicholas and Christine Flanagan of Newark; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Amy Gardner of Edgewater and Kelly and Mark Wilson of Middletown; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Flanagan Children's Education Fund, c/o Wilmington Trust, 405 W. Main St., Middletown, DE 19709.
