It’s a day of friends, fashion, and fitness. The W3 What Women Want Fest is a festive and relaxing day for women to gather together with their gal pals of all ages.
This 2025 event returns to Wild Quail Golf & Country Club in Wyoming, Del., on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The female-centric day will include vendors, light refreshments, a complimentary signature cocktail, a fashion show, door prizes and giveaways in a beautiful venue, all presented by the Daily State News.
Besides enjoying the elegant surroundings, guests can visit together and check out the vendors.
“What Women Want is always a fantastic opportunity to hang with your favorite gal pals—a best friend, sister, mom, aunt, or even grandmother!” said Tonda Parks, Associate Publisher. “There’s a variety of vendors, all those kinds of things that just make your life more comfortable and fun.”
Fitness demos are always a popular draw: Dover YMCA will get everyone on their feet with Zumba, and later, limber everyone up with Stretching. New this year, Double Dutch Therapy will do a demo sure to lift everyone’s spirits.
The day fits whatever vibe a person brings: cool in jeans and sandals or feeling snappy in something tailored. Some ladies dress in pink to match their best friends. Others wear nice hats, to find each other in the crowd.
Women’s lives are multifaceted, from their work and expertise to their passions and pride. W3 aims to highlight fascinating women and women’s topics: at the fashion show, at each booth and in the W3 publication.
That’s right, a fashion show! This year’s show will be presented by Talbots of Dover, featuring their beautiful spring and summer fashions modeled by local women leaders. Come meet these amazing women and see them keenly take on a new challenge—the catwalk.
This year’s signature cocktail is generously provided by Wild Quail. A cash bar will also be available.
Event partners include Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore, plus the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation (DEMEC). Visit their booths to hear more about their services, and see their models in the show.
Tickets and details are online at DelmarvaEvents.net.
General admission tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Admission includes an event tote bag, a door prize entry (no need to be present to win), and a drink ticket. VIP tickets are sold out, but those lucky ladies will also enjoy an exclusive sit-down meal, coffee/latte, a mini spa experience and swag bag.
The event program book published in the Greater Dover Independent on March 13 and Daily State News on March 16. It’s posted online at and online at https://baytobaynews.com/special-section-showcase, featuring in-depth interviews with impressive Delaware women.
