DOVER — A possible undeclared milk allergen in Wawa brand iced tea lemon, diet lemonade and fruit punch led the company to issue a recall in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA announced the affected products have been removed from stores and destroyed, though it warns people who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Locations in Claymont, Dover, Middletown, New Castle, Newark, Smyrna and Wilmington are confirmed to have received the products.
