Seeney, 72 DOVER - Walter Forrest 'Walt' Seeney, of Rose Bowl Road, Dover, passed away Saturday August 18, 2012 at KGH Bay Health Dover. He was born on May 21, 1940 in Cheswold, Del., to the late Forrest and Lola Ridgeway Seeney. Mr. Seeney attended Immanuel Union Methodist Church. Mr. Seeney worked in maintenance at the City of Dover for 24 years and at Kent County for 15 years. He was manager and coach at Dover Little League for 15 years. Walt loved to work in his yard and garden. He shared his vegetables with family and friends alike. His wood carvings have traveled all over the country. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a die hard Phillies fan, and never missed watching a game. He is preceded in death by his sister, Arbana Birdella Ridgeway. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Emma Seeney of Dover; son and his wife, Richard J. and Jennifer Seeney of Covington, K.y.; son and his wife, Mark D. and Cathleen Seeney of Dover; brother, A. Gerald 'Gerry' Seeney of Dallas, Texas; brother, Richard H. Seeney of Dover; brother and his wife, Anthony M. and Wanda Seeney of Dover; sister, Sarah E. Seeney of Milford; sister, Janice M. Seeney of Dover; sister and her husband, Nancy J. and Eric Bryant of Mesa, Az; sister, Karen E. Seeney of Blackwood, N.J.; mother & father-in-law, Alta and Jack Worley of Cheswold; goddaughter, Wendy Seeney of Dover; sister-in-law and her husband, Kandy and Rick Bundy of Little Rock, Ark; sister-in-law, Dorothy Worley of Lindenwood, N.J.; sister-in-law, Frances 'Dovie' Worley of Dover; brother-in-law, Doyle Worley of Dover; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Gerald, Tabitha, and Andrew Seeney. Remembrance services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday August 8, 2012, at Immanuel Union United Methodist Church in Cheswold, DE. Burial will be at the Immanuel Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may also call Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Immanuel Union United Methodist Church in Cheswold.
