Virginia Parvis

BENSALEM - Virginia Parvis passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa. Virginia was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a lab technician. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Townsend Parvis in 1977; nephew, Sam Johnson; and niece, Diane Ralston. She is survived by two brother-in-laws, Thomas Parvis and wife Anne and Charles Parvis; several nieces and nephews, Sharon Pingue and husband Charles, Connie Parvis, Tom Parvis and wife Beth, Charles F. Parvis and wife Louie, Betty June Gibson and husband Barry and Grace Johnson. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE. Graveside Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
