ST. MICHAELS, Va. - Virginia L. Adams "Miss Ginny" of St. Michaels died November 19, 2014 at Talbot Hospice House, in Easton, Md. She was 80. Born in Neavitt, Md. on January 29, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Roland and Freda Harrison Lomax. She attended Talbot co. public school in St. Michaels. Miss Ginny worked at Grayblock Ribbon Company in Easton, for more than 20 years. She then worked at Black and Decker until their closing, then Acme Markets in St. Michaels until retiring due to health reasons. Over the years she spent her free time, crabbing and oystering with her husband Billy "the love of her life" aboard his boat "The Yankee". After the loss of her husband in 2004, with the help of her family she worked on her own bucket list, traveling to such places as Disney world, Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii. Her favorite past time was crocheting blankets, hats and scarves giving them to everyone she possibly could. She even managed to donate blankets to everyone one on the St. Michaels Baseball team. She enjoyed watching her grandson Bobby play baseball from T ball to college and could always be seen in the stands cheering him and his team on. Her devotion to her family and community was strong. She touched the hearts of many. Miss Ginny is survived by her three daughters, Pam Schultz (Robbie), and Sally Ewing all of St Michaels, Diana Abbott, (Dave) of Manchester Md.; a brother, Roland (Sonny) Lomax, (Trish) of Felton, Del.; a daughter in law, Sally Adams; 14 grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Williams "Bill" Adams, Jr. in 2011. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Ostrowski Funeral Home, 312 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels, Md., where a viewing will be held 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014. Burial will be at Olivet Cemetery St Michaels Md. (www.ostrowskifh.com)
