MAGNOLIA - Vicki Ann Booth, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, from the Delaware Hospice Center Vicki was born, during a blizzard, on Jan. 5, 1962, at the Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pa. Vicki was the daughter of Elizabeth L. Booth (McElheny) of Lancaster, and Vearl P. Booth Jr. and Alva (Engroff) Booth of Lancaster. Ms. Booth worked in the Food Service Industry for the past 30 years, including Yoder's Family Restaurant in New Holland, Pa. and Central Family Restaurant in York, Pa. She moved to Magnolia, in May 2008 and started working in the kitchen of the Frederica Senior Center. Vicki was also a Prep-Cook at Doc Magrogan's Oyster House in Dover Downs, being one of the original employees when it opened in 2008. She took extreme pride in her duties and always tried to do her best. Vicki enjoyed working as a cook and was also one not to just sit around. She was always on the go doing odd jobs for the Center or for her family. She enjoyed playing bingo with members of the Frederica Senior Center or a good game of bowling on the Wii. She loved to watch professional basketball, football and NASCAR. Her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys and she loved cheering on her favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. One of her memorable moments was riding along in a race car from Monster Mile Racing at the Dover Speedway. Vicki was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she received her Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ and was Baptized in His Name. She loved God, her family and friends deeply. Vicki was a quiet, independent woman who was always a joy to be around. She loved her son and grandchildren and spent hours talking to them throughout the day. A quiet individual she enjoyed all her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Vicki is survived by her only child, Justin Michael Booth and his wife Angi of Peoria, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Andre, Marcus, Tatianna, and Alexus, all of Arizona; three sisters, Lorri, wife of Mark Maier, Panama City, Fla., Michele, wife of Albert Hunsiker III, Magnolia, and April Booth of Lancaster; two stepbrothers, Jeff Engroff of Lancaster, and Kevin and Rhonda Engroff of Millersville, Pa.; and a niece, Kayla Miller of Lancaster. Also surviving are five nephews, Albert Hunsiker IV of Shreveport, La., Christopher Hunsiker of Smyrna, Mathew Hunsiker of Dover, Alexander Hunsiker of Magnolia, and Hunter Maier of Panama City, Fla.; and great-nieces and nephews. Vicki also leaves behind numerous close friends in Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Family would like to thank the Staff at Milford Memorial Hospital for the outstanding care they gave Vicki during her stay, especially the nurses from ICU. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family at Southside Baptist Church in Dover, at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Vicki's name to Trader Funeral Home, Inc., 12 Lotus Street, Dover, DE 19901 to offset funeral costs. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com
