CAMDEN, Del. - Valerie Dawn Graham passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Valerie Dawn was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She retired from the State of Delaware after 20 years of service. Over the course of her career, she worked for Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, and the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Valerie attended Calvary Assembly of God. She was an avid collector, and her home displayed her love for turtles and the beach. In her spare time, she enjoyed going on cruises and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Michael Bostwick.
Valerie is survived by her husband of 23 years, Thomas Graham, DE; Children, Thomas J. Graham, and Janeka Graham; In-Laws, Thomas C. Graham, Karen (Dennis) Rook; Brother-in-law, John Graham; Sister-in-law, Jennifer (Kris) Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and longtime family friend, Joy Remus.
A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Del. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with services to follow at 7 p.m. For those unable to attend the funeral service there will be a livestream on www.torbertfuneral.com, it can be found under the "Upcoming Livestreams" tab and viewed by clicking on their name.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in her honor to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
