Mr. Travis Myrks, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
Travis leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Jacqueline Stull and Vontiva Acree-Carter (William) of Ridgley, Md., Rhonda Taliafero (Darryl) of Hopewell, Va.; step-children, Gail B. Smith (Nate Hagger-family friend) of Waldorf, Md., Derrick Gardner (Betty) of Cheyenne, Wyo., Karen Baytops (Darryl) of Bear, and Linda Gardner of Newark; grandchildren, Reggie Myrks, Brandy Myrks, Eric Myrks, Erica Myrks, Derrick Myrks, Terrance Brown, Tyrone Myrks, Stephanie Frazer, Jazmen Dean, Jermica Newman, John Dawson, Vanessa Jenkins, and Colvaughn Robinson; several great grandchildren; a loving uncle, Cornel Daniels (Marion) of San Bernardino, Calif.; cousins, Ocie Turner (Margorie) and Roberta Turner of Seattle, Wash., Earline Turner of Dallas, Texas, Eddie Mae Turner of Boise, Idaho, Bonnie Borders of Riverside, Calif., and Virginia Arku- Isabel of Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 883 Lincoln Street, Dover. Interment will be held at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Bear on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. J.M.
