Dover - Thurley Arthur Murphy passed away suddenly, Friday, July 20, 2018.
Thurley was born Nov. 20, 1982 to Gladys (Ford) Norton. In his free time he enjoyed drawing, listening to music, playing the guitar; and doing projects at home with his Dad, especially mechanical work; but his ultimate joy was spending time with his step-son, Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thurley Murphy, and Lilburn Norton; and his grandmothers, Doretta Ford and Betty Murphy.
Thurley is survived by his wife, Latoya Murphy; his stepson, Joshua Schofield; his parents, Gary and Gladys Norton, of Dover; his brother, Harley Murphy, of Dover; his sisters, Deborah Moore and husband, James, of Felton and April Rangel and husband, Pascual, of Houston, Texas; his grandmother, Barbara Norton, of Seaford; his grandfather, Christopher Ford, of Camden-Wyoming; and his longtime best friend, Darren Daigrepont, of Dover; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
