CMSGT Ret. USAF, 70 GENTRYVILLE, Ind. - Thomas I. Crews, CMSGT Ret. USAF, age 70, of Gentryville, Ind., died on Feb. 1, 2011. He will be remembered as a profound man of few words who had a passion for discreetly helping people get back on their feet. He was former Superintendent of the Aerial Port, DAFB, Certified Appraiser for Farmer's Bank and owner of Plaindealing Antiques in Frederica. A Master Barber by trade, he was a Contractor for 4 Barber Shops on DAFB from 1970-1984 and the owner of Spence's Bazaar Barber Shop. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carole; three children, Steve Crews, Tracey Crews-Hammond, and Diane Graham; five grandchildren, a sister, niece, and three nephews. Services will be at Fuller Funeral Home in Dale, Ind.
