Thomas Dale Pinnow, 78
FELTON - Thomas Dale Pinnow passed away peacefully at the Delaware Hospice Center on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Mr. Pinnow was born and raised in Freeport, Ill. He served in the United States Air Force and served overseas during the Vietnam War. Thomas retired from Del Tech Community College as a Professor of Industrial Engineering. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, motorcycles, woodworking, metal working, and he was known by his CB handle as 'Corvair Kid' because of his love of restoring Chevrolet Corvairs. He loved to share his knowledge of woodworking, metal working, and automotive repair. He was a deeply spiritual man and loved nature.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Pinnow; and his parents, Howard and Winnefred (Culbertson) Pinnow.
He is survived by his step-children, Tony and Angel.
A committal service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
