Thomas is survived by his 3 children; Lisa Showard, Thomas Messick Jr. and his wife Ceresia, Sara Messick all of Georgetown; 8 grandchildren; and his siblings, Samuel Messick III, Elizabeth Chronister and Brian (Pee Wee) Messick.
