Sockriter, 74 MILTON - Thadda Marie Sockriter, passed away on Wednesday Aug. 22, 2012, at BayHealth Kent General in Dover. Mrs. Sockriter was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Sheldon and Dorothy (Stevens) Webb. Mrs. Sockriter was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to the movies, watching TV and playing with her computer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond T. Sockriter; her children, Raymond T. Sockriter, Jr. and wife Becky of Milton, Brenda Sehn and husband Bobby of Milton, Wayne Sockriter of Colo., James and Richard Sockriter, both of Milton; sister Jackie Jackson of Ga.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
