HARRINGTON - Tammy Lewis, (1959-2011), left her home on earth and was announced in Heaven, to her Lord Jesus on May 13, 2011. Tammy worked in management at Heritage Park in Johnson City, Tenn., before returning to Delaware in 2002. She also worked at John Macklin and Son Inc, of Lincoln. Tammy will always be remembered for her giving, loving and forgiving heart to others, and her love for children. She enjoyed her grandchildren who live in Tennessee very much, and always looked forward to their presence and phone calls. Tammy enjoyed working in her flower beds, watching horror movies with friends and family, outings with family and friends, being at the beach, cruises, boating, watching afternoon TV with her father, and most importantly, being a Mother to her two children. Tammy was a member of The First Baptist Church in Milford, for many years, with her brothers and sisters. Tammy is survived by her father, and best friend in Harrington, James Lewis Sr. (whom she resided with); her mother and step father, Jennie Mauer and Jim of Clayton; her sister, Sandy Molnar and husband Bob of Dover; her sister, Wanda Nowottnick, and husband Billy (also resided with); her brother, James Lewis Jr. and wife Terry of Felton; her brother, Mike Lewis of Dover; her brother, Cameron Mauer of Wilmington; and brother Keith Mauer. Tammy is fondly survived by her daughter, Crystal Necessary and husband Steven of Gray, Tenn.; and a son, Michael Foster and his wife Anna. She leaves behind but not forgotten two beautiful and handsome grandchildren, Liberty and Logan. Tammy also is an Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Tammy leaves behind a best friend of Lincoln, Janet Macklin, and also Tammy's best friend, Que, her beloved dog of Felton, who will now, happily, reside with brother James, of Felton. Tammy is also survived by many special people who she came to Love at Milford Bay health Center, and Compassionate Hospice Care of Dover and Wilmington. Tammy was preceded in death by her beloved step mother, Ruth Lewis; and brother, Lee Sheridan. Private services will be for family and close friends at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Milford, where a memorial service only will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to Compassionate Care Hospice of DOVER and Wilmington. 800-219-0092 If you still wish to send flowers, they may be sent to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
