MARYDEL - Tami Irene Tucker Nichols passed away at home on August 31, 2022. Born in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of the late Diana (Lobdell) and Archie Tucker.
Tami had been a dispatcher for Right Way Flagging in Camden for 18 years. Tami loved to travel and was an avid pool player; and she was all about family time.
Tami is survived by her husband, Harold J. "Snake" Nichols, Jr.; three children: Bradley Kranz and Zachary Dailey, both of Camden, DE and Darrick Dailey of Enumclaw, WA; two children: Maria Nichols of Marydel and Harold "Nick" Nichols, III of Marydel; one brother Joshua Tucker of Hartly; step brother Christopher Tucker of Kitts Hummock, DE; sister in law Penny Nichols of Ridgely, MD; father in law Harold Nichols, Sr. of Ridgely, MD; her cousin/mom Brian and Kimmie Barnett of Enumclaw, WA; two brothers in law Clay (Karine) Nichols of North Carolina and Michael Nichols of Florida; five grandchildren: Jaxon, James, Rylee, Ezra, and Lilly; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins which include her nephews MacGyver Smith, Bennie Barnett and Brandon Barnett all of Enumclaw, WA and her niece, Santana Simms of Magnolia, DE. Tami is also survived by her Secret Sisters. In addition to her parents, Tami was preceded in death by her mother in law, Shelba V. Nichols.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Silver Lake Park, Pavillion number 1, 300 Washington Street, Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 161 N. Clark, Suite 3550, Chicago, IL 60601.
