CECILTON, Md. - T. Ray Hall, of Cecilton, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in Union Hospital, Elkton. He was 82.
Mr. Hall was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Nicholson, Pa., son of the late Richard S. and Beulah (Warner) Hall.
He worked heavy construction his entire life, working on projects including Niagara Falls, N.Y., and the California Aqueduct.
Mr. Hall lived in Lake Hughes, Calif., for 33 years before moving to Maryland in 2004.
He enjoyed flower gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Hall and William Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois (VanWald) Hall; three sons, Gregory R. Hall and his wife Kathy of Clinton, Miss., David R. Hall and his wife Trudi of Carson City, Nev., and Tony L. Hall and his wife Jaki of Lancaster, Calif.; two daughters, Amy L. Thompson and her husband Tom of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Laurie R. Hall of Cecilton; a brother, Robert Hall of Binghamton, N.Y.; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held in July in Chino Valley.
Memorials may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
