Susan 'Sue' Wilkinson, 58

DOVER - Susan "Sue" Wilkinson, of Dover, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in her home. She was 58.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1949, in Dover, daughter of the late Roland and Dorothy (Wagner) Wilkinson.

Sue was employed with the Justice of the Peace Court as a clerk since 1979.

She always had a love for animals, especially horses and was a member of the United States Trotters Association and the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association.

Sue also was a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Rebecca "Becky" Wilkinson on Oct. 3, 2002.

She is survived by aunts and uncles, Audrey and Ralph Sipple of Mesa, Ariz., and Ina and Harold Hopkins of Wyoming; cousins, Dale and Faye Sipple of Phoenix and Cathy and Richard Miller of Rehoboth Beach; godchild Fantasia C. Durham of Washington; and several close friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
