Stephen Isaac
Koble (Pullen), 32
Stephen Isaac Koble (Pullen) of Fort Bragg, North Carolina passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Holleger and Charles and Betty Pullen; and his uncle, Jerry Pullen.
Stephen followed in his mother's footsteps and was proudly serving in the United States Army as a 91B. He was Posthumously promoted to Sergeant First Class (E-7). Some of SFC Koble's achievements include Senior Parachutist Badge, Expert Soldier Badge, Jungle Operations Training course, Air Assault School Graduate, Senior Leadership Course Graduate and Jumpmaster. He was also awarded three Army Commendation Medals, five Army Achievement Medals and two Army Good Conduct Medals.
Stephen had a passion for music and could play any instrument that he picked up, but his favorite was the guitar and bass guitar, and he also played the trumpet. He had determination like no other, when he put his mind to something he accomplished it, including running a marathon. He loved to spend time outdoors with nature and enjoyed hiking.
Stephen leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 10 years (together 15 years), Morgan Koble; his parents, Thomas and Christine Pullen; brother, James Pullen; grandmother, Hilda Holleger; mother-in-law, Sharon Gump (John Webb); and father-in-law, Mark Koble; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 4:00pm at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
