GEORGETOWN - Shirley A. Rodan, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Shirley was born on Sept. 4, 1945 in Georgetown to the late Wilbert J. and Esther Donovan Mitchell. She worked as a seamstress technician for ILC Industries, maker of NASA space suits, before having to retire due to illness. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies, playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by a son, Jesse Robinson and his wife Laura of Georgetown; a sister, Doris Lingo and her husband Earl of Georgetown; a brother, James Mitchell and his wife Lana of Seaford; two grandchildren, Eric and Megan Robinson; and her special friends, Betty Fridley and Sharon Jester. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S.
