Sarah was born in Dover, on July 19, 1919, and was the daughter of Esther Gibson Salmons and James Otto Salmons. Sarah married Charles Cubbage Breme, of Milford, on May 10, 1940. Sarah briefly attended Maryville College in Tennessee and Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington. Sarah worked for many years as the bookkeeper at C&W Auto Parts in Dover, retiring when she was 80 years old. Sarah was a member of the Kiwives Club of Dover. Sarah was a powerful guiding force. Sarah is survived by her sons, Frederick J. Breme (wife Ruth M. Newcomb) of Watkinsville, Ga. and Steven Charles Breme (wife Delilah Breme) of Bishop, Ga. Sarah had three grandchildren, Jennifer A. Breme Heighton, David Robbins and Jonathan Robbins. Sarah left behind four great-grandchildren, Sophia Robbins, George Robbins, Ariana Robbins and Grace Heighton.
A gathering of her friends and family will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. Sarah will be buried at Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden.
