Ruth E. Killian, 78

DOVER - Ruth E. Killian, of Dover, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Capital Nursing Home, Dover. She was 78.

Ruth was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Philadelphia, to the late John and Elizabeth Miller.

She enjoyed life as a homemaker.

Ruth is survived by her husband, William Killian; two sons, Stephen Killian and his wife Randi of Fallisington, Pa., and William Killian Jr. of Aberdeen, Md.; a daughter, Kim Appenzeller of Levittown, Pa.; a sister, Charlotte Bosworth of Thorofare, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Sharon Swiercznski; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the local Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947.
