Ruth E. Hudson, 77

DAGSBORO - Ruth E. Hudson of Dagsboro passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007, at her home. She was 77.

Ruth was born in Dagsboro, daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Daisey) Steele.

She was a retired employee of the Stockley Center in Georgetown, retiring after 17 years of service.

Ruth was a member of St. George"s United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, Millsboro Senior Center and the Millville Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Floyd Hudson and Gary Hudson.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Sandy Parker and her husband Al of Georgetown, and Ruth Barker of Drums, Pa.; four grandchildren, Adam Hudson and his wife Megan, Travis Barker, Jennifer Gross and her husband David, and Christopher Boris; and three great-grandchildren, Lilly Gross, Anna Bell Gross and Alexis Hudson.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford,. Burial will be in St. George"s Cemetery in Clarksville.

Flowers will be accepted.
