FEDERALSBURG - Ruth Ann Nichols Johnson fell asleep in death at 7:30 a.m. at the Deer's Head Hospital in Salisbury, Md. on Jan. 1, 2015. Ruth was born on Nov. 3, 1942 to the late Norman L. Nichols, Sr. and Ruth Eleanor Thomas Nichols, both of Federalsburg, Md. She was the 10th child born from the union between Norman Sr. and Ruth Eleanor. Four brothers and four sisters preceded Ruth in falling asleep in death. Those brothers and sisters were: Catherine, Henry, Pauline, Emerson, Mildred, Robert, Dorsey, and Minnie, all of whom are awaiting (as is Ruth) the day of resurrection. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lisa Z. Wright and son-in-law James Wright of Denton, Md., three step-children, Tyrone Johnson, Shirley Johnson-Jones and Tony Johnson all of Seaford, Del., her biological sister, Louise McCullough and brother-in-law John McCullough of Federalsburg, Md., her brother, Norman L. Nichols, Jr. of Federalsburg. a Goddaughter, Malica Dunnock, of Bellcamp, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Seaford Laurel Highway, Seaford, Del. 19973. Friends may call on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 and Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home.
