Ruth Ann Maloney

HOUSTON - Ruth Ann Maloney passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home. She was 81 She was the daughter of the late Emily and Alexander Argo Jr. Mrs. Maloney was a homemaker and also part owner of the Houston Oil Company until retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Calvary Wesleyan Church and attended regularly until she was no longer able to. Her favorite hobbies included reading, puzzle word books, crochet, crafts, and watching her family's goats. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially talking to her grandchildren and being a part of their lives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll "Teeny" Maloney; brothers, Alexander Argo III, and James B. Argo. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Timothy and Kelley Maloney of Houston; daughter and son in laws, Barbara and Qamar Maqbool of Georgetown, Marlene and David Baldwin of Richmond, Va.; and five grandchildren A service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
