DOVER - Ruby Hickman, age 85, died at Westminster Village on May 8, 2011. She was the fourth of six children born to Glenn and Cora Graybeal. She had worked for the Department of Fish and Wildlife for 4 years and then had worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Education retiring in the late 80's. Mrs. Hickman was a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Dover. Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by her son, John Edward Hickman. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, W. Robert Hickman of Dover; daughter, Jo Ann Farschman and her husband William of Clayton; two brothers, one sister; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 4 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Westminster Village Community Center, 191 Westminster Drive, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
