Rosemary Dean

DOVER - Rosemary Dean passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, in her home. She was 71. She was born on Aug. 14, 1939, in Greenport, N.Y., daughter of the late Louis and Edna (Derleth) Schwebes. Rosemary worked as an inspector for the USDA. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, babysitting and taking care of her grandkids. She will be remembered as touching the hearts of many. Rosemary is preceded in death by two brothers, Spike Schwebes and Lenny Schwebes. She is survived by her children, Darlene L. Squier of Dover, Susan M. Tripp and her husband Lee of Laurel, William C. Dean and his wife Kellie of Fresno, Calif., Louis M. Dean of Dover, Carol "Nicky" A. Walters of Beverly, Mass.;15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be at the family's residence from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, April 2. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
