MAGNOLIA - Rose Marie Butler Swain passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, in her home surrounded by family. Rose was born April 10, 1938 in Cheswold, DE. For the last eight years she has been a foster grandparent with the Caesar Rodney School District and was a lifelong "mom" and "mom-mom" to many. She was preceded in death by her son Donald D. Miller, Jr. in 2005, her parents Marie Anna Cline and Mack Wilson Butler, as well as 3 brothers. She is survived by her great granddaughter, Joie Kirchner; lifelong companion, Grady Wilson; two daughters, Terry Anderson Robinson of Frederica, DE and Pamela Miller Marek of Phoenix, AZ, nine grandchildren, 12 other great grandchildren and long time family friend, Darin Dell. Services will be private and in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to her caregivers for their loving and professional care. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
