Rosanne Litzie, 72
Rosanne Litzie passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 due to COVID complications. Rosanne was born February 19, 1948 in Olean, New York to the late Lee Harvey Alexander and Ruth McClure.
Rosanne was a housekeeper but also a homemaker. While Rosanne's main job was a homemaker she also worked as a dedicated housekeeper for 42 years. She could often be found working in the kitchen. She enjoyed finding and trying out new recipes, making sure to share her favorites with friends and family. When not trying new recipes, she could often be found working on her puzzles. She loved putting puzzles together and made sure to always complete her daily Crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Rosanne deeply loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed the funny comics and memes that she would receive from her family. Rosanne made sure she let her family know she loved them by texting or calling every night before going to sleep.
In addition to her parents; Rosanne was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Elizabeth Strang.
She is survived by husband of over 23 years, Thomas Litzie Jr.; daughter, Hilary Strang of Dover; step-children, Chrystal (Curtis) Mullen of Felton, James (Vicki) Litzie of Simpsonville, S.C., Michael (Georgette) Litzie of Jacksonville, Fla., Edward (Maria) Litzie of Coral Springs, Fla., and Thomas Litzie, III of Fredericksburg, Va.; siblings, Linda Martello, Ann Bailey, and Frank McClure all of Olean, N.Y., Harvey (Evon) McClure of Douglasville, Ga. and George (Marylee) McClure of Canton, Ga.; grandchildren, James, Gail, Jeff, Josh, Aprille and Thomas Litzie IV, Skylar, Tori and Amy Higgins, Joey Strauz and Terri Carman; great grandchildren, Abigail, Gabrille and Thea Litzie and Valerie and Matthew Carman; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
