Ronald J. Marcolini

MAGNOLIA - Ronald J. Marcolini, 80, of Magnolia passed away, Friday, April 22, 2016 in Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Mr. Marcolini was born June 6, 1935 in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania to the late Vincenzo Marcolini and Venitia Camiani Marcolini. He served in the United States Army Reserve and was an engineer for Venetta, Inc. and ABB designing induction furnaces for 35 years, retiring in 1998. Mr. Marcolini enjoyed golfing, bowling, movies, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Savor Marcolini of Magnolia; sons, Michael Marcolini and his wife Dianne of Harrington, Richard Marcolini and his wife Kathy of Niles, Ohio; daughter, Marie Johnson and her husband Leslie of Dover; grandchildren, Kelli, Nicole, Anthony, Michelle, Sarah and Matthew; and great grandchildren, Ethan and Noah. The family would like to thank Genesis of Milford for the loving care and support through this difficult time. The family will hold private services at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, N. Queen Street, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Genesis of Milford. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
