Roger W. Dill, 67 MAGNOLIA - Roger W. Dill, age 67, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010. He was born on Aug. 13, 1942, in Wilmington, to the late Rebecca (Smith) Dill and Edward Dill. He worked in the plumbing industry since 1960. Roger enjoyed fishing, wood working, camping at Tom's Cove camp ground in Chincoteague, Va., and especially enjoyed travelling with his wife and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Rose A. Dill of Magnolia; sons, Arthur F. Dill of Newark, Roger M. Dill of Okinawa, Japan, and Michael B. Dill of Dover; daughter, Dawn M. Dill of Middletown; brothers, Fred Dill of Orlando, Fla., and John Dill of Washington; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Dill in 1990. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at R.T. Foard and Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, where friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Roger W. Dill Memorial Fund c/o R.T. Foard and Jones.
