MILFORD - Roger E. Adams, Jr. passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at Delaware Hospice in Milford. He was born in Milford to the late Roger E. Adams, Sr. and Mildred Banning Adams. Roger served in the U.S. Army and worked as a postal clerk for the U.S. Government before retirement. He was a member of the Milford Elks Lodge # 2401, who will perform a memorial ceremony in honor of Mr. Adams. Roger also was Little League Coach and Manager for the Milford Little League. He attended Avenue United Methodist Church of Milford, Delaware. Roger is survived by a daughter, Deborah Tappan (Robert); three sons, Gregory W. Adams (Nancy), Brian K. Adams, Sr. (special friend Shelly Dillon), and Kevin C. Adams (Dawn); also six grandchildren, Corey Tappan, Kristen Adams, Brian Keith Adams, Jr. (Sharea), Brynn Adams, Quinn Adams, and Casey Adams; and four great-grandchildren, Linda Nevaeh, Rainna Salome, Briahna Nicole, and Claria Elise Adams. Funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home 119 NW Front St, Milford, DE 19963 where friends can call from 12 noon-1 PM for a viewing.
