WYOMING, Del. - Robin Lee Saxton, passed away at her home on July 27, 2012, after a courageous battle with Stage IV colon cancer. Robin was born on January 10, 1961 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. to Helen and Larry Kuhn. Growing up, she lived in New York, Maine and finally Delaware. She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1979 and from Delaware State University in 1984. Upon graduation, she was employed for several years by sears of Dover. For the past 19 years she had been employed by the State of Delaware in the Department of Health and Socials Services. Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 28 years, Rusty Saxton; sons, Joshua and Christopher; parents, Helen and Larry; sister, Peggy and her husband Russ Wintjen; brother, Kevin and his wife Anna Kuhn; sister and brother-in-laws, Delane and Harry Saxton, and Patricia and Jim Vanik; nieces, Lauren Saxton, Courtney and Kaitlyn Wintjen, Jessica and Ashley Kuhn; nephews, Tom and Dan Vanik; and extended family and friends. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 in Robins memory. Letters of condolence may be sent and the guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
