Robert Pryor

Robert (Bob) Pryor passed away on July 13, 2018 at West Chester Neighborhood Hospice due to complications of cancer. Bob was born on March 7, 1958 in Smyrna the son of the late Mike (Buddy) Pryor and Clara Pryor Polito.
Bob worked for DuPont in Wilmington for over 32 years and at Total Petrochemical and Refining U.S.A., Inc. in Exton, Pa. Bob was an above average poker player, enjoyed watching Jeopardy, old westerns and black and white classics. Bob was also a part time comedian and enjoyed trips to New York.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Rowley; grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
Bob is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Robert Pryor; daughter; Tracey (Bob) Stanton; grandchildren, Emily, Bobby, Tayler, Ryan; and stepfather, Kel Polito; mother-in-law, Ginny Reitenauer; brothers, Mike (Cheryl) Pryor, Ron (Theresa) Pryor, and Dave (Lynelle) Pryor; sisters, Sharon Pryor, and Kelly Marie Polito; brother-in-law; Brian (Marilyn) Reitenauer; nieces, nephews and other numerous relatives. In addition to his loving wife, his beloved pets, Samantha Louise, Piper Rose and Matilda Joy.
Services and burial were both private.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution should do so to the SPCA of Delaware.
