Robert A. Warren Sr.

LINCOLN - Robert A. Warren, Sr. of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at home. He was 82. Robert was born in Lincoln, the son of the late Henry T. and Virginia Warren. He was a farmer in the Lincoln area and also worked for Playtex for 28 years. He was a member of the Beagle Club. He loved spending time with family, fishing, rabbit hunting, canning, gardening and crabbing. He was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mildred (Beebe) Warren. He is survived by his children, Robert A. Warren, Jr. and his companion, Evelyn Mills, Joyce Ann Pagden and her husband James, all of Lincoln, and Brenda Collins and her husband Mike of Milford; brother, Asa P. Warren of Milford; and a sister, Alice Grainer of La.; five grandchildren, Danny Warren, Henry Warren, Robert Warren, III, Tina Wilkins and T.J. Dantonio; seven great grandchildren, Bryce Warren, Shannon Warren, Robert A. Warren IV, Kaitlyn Warren, Khailer Hitchens and Meghan Warren and Madison Hitchens A memorial service will be held Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, De, where friends may call after 12:00 noon.
