Richard 'Bill Hutt' Preston McCray, 73

GEORGETOWN - Richard "Bill Hutt" Preston McCray of Georgetown passed away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 73.

He was employed by the Showell Poulty Division for many years as a chicken catcher.

Mr. McCray was also a member of the Antioch AME Church, Frankford.

He is survived by a son, Michael McCray of California; five daughters, Joann McCray, Elvetras McCray and Victoria McCray, both of Los Angeles, Letitia Gordon of Bishopville, Md., and Diana Brittingham of Whaleyvelle, Md.; nine grandchildren; seven brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services were held in Antioch AME Church, Frankford.

The Rev. Harvey H.B. Sparkman III officiated.

Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Millsboro.
