MILTON - Richard H. "Yogi" Wright, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 79. Richard was born in Guilford, N.Y., the son of the late Floyd and Mabel (Maccomber) Wright. He worked at E.I. DuPont in Seaford for 32 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of Goshen U.M. Church in Milton. He was a member of the Milton Volunteer Fire Company, and had served as chief, assistant chief and assistant secretary. He enjoyed bowing and was a sports fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Farrell, Marian Woodrum, and Dorothy Anton Andrie; his granddaughter, Bethany Wright; and grandson, Shawn Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Willey Wright; children, Connie Argo and her husband John of Ellendale, Kelly Huerta and her husband Patrick of Greenwood, Christy Robinson of Milton, Kenny Wright and his wife Wendy of Lewes, and Brittney Robinson of Milton; sister, Doris Scott and brother, R. William Wright; ten grandchildren, Jayme Berry and her husband Tommy, J.R. Argo, P.J. Huerta, Stacey Betts, Isaac Jones, Nathan Huerta, John Huerta, Charles Jones, Alec Martin and Jillian Martin; nine great-grandchildren, Madison Berry, Thomas Berry, III, Johnna Argo, Ava Huerta, Hailey Betts, Hannah Betts, Jacob Betts and Emily Betts; and his beloved pet, Spike. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
